Also, the Camelmilk team visited, accompanied by authorities and project partners, the Incirliova camel fights, a tradition firmly rooted in the country and an event that Unesco proposes to include in its list of world cultural heritages.

The camel is a symbol of the culture of the area and at work to maintain ancestral traditions. Through this events, such as these fights or also the races, which are held in the country, camel owners demonstrate the value of these animals and give them the respect and recognition of society.
The project delegation was able to experience firsthand how these animals are cared for, respected and protected in the different events experienced by the mayor and local authorities. The inhabitants of the area have grown up watching camels training and celebrating these events, in which this animal develop as a symbol of their culture.
